Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes until softened.

Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes tomato puree Italian seasoning paprika salt and pepper.

Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
